Restaurant Poseidon in Korschenbroich

On Sunday, October 11th, 2020, I visited the Poseidon restaurant with my family. Unfortunately, the hygiene regulations were not observed here. The tablecloths where the visitors had put down their masks in advance were only changed upon request. The benches and the menus were not disinfected either. Here, too, had to be asked for. The friendliness of the service was searched in vain. Then we ordered a fish platter and a lamb platter. First of all, we were shocked by the small portions on the plates. And that for these prices that are called there. The fish plate was delivered to the table completely fried. I hope everyone knows that fish is seared on the skin side. Because something like that is only possible in a chip shop. Then the first attempt to tear the fish, but went very badly. The fish smelled extremely unpleasant and was not edible. The waiter was called and the fish platter was complained about and taken back by the waiter. A new plate was omitted because the taste was already gone. The lamb plate was also provided with dry meat. Then the bill was asked. We were shocked to find that the fish platter was charged in full at EUR 20.90. We then asked to speak to the owner. She hadn't thought it possible to speak to us personally as a guest or customer. She then called the police. We didn't want to pay for a plate that wasn't edible either. The other amount already. The owner has given us a ban and kicked us out of the restaurant. Just unbelievable. I wouldn’t set foot here anymore. If this is what the service looks like recently, then it's no wonder if the doors will be closed here soon too. I wouldn't leave a euro here. There are much better and friendlier Greeks in Mönchengladbach. Please don't say I didn't warn you. Just so that you don't have the same experience, please. Unfortunately I had to give a star, but it is not possible to get a zero star. An experience that I do not wish for anyone. I wonder why this restaurant got so many positive reviews. They are not real and were probably made by the staff themselves. Because nobody can have that much bad taste. In addition to the owner's comment: So if I order a fish in a restaurant for over EUR 20, then I don't have to question whether it is fried, because a fish should be fried or grilled. I'm not in a chip shop where everything is fried. You can probably only get gyros, suflaki and bifsteki. You should then take tuition with fish and prepare properly! I was there with my girlfriend on Sunday, October 11th, 2020. At the next table people complained about the hygiene. What we could observe, everything was cleaned and the tablecloths changed, so everything according to regulations. I can only recommend this restaurant. Always friendly, courteous and very tasty.

I am normally not the writer but more the reader but if I want to read something here, I have to comment on it. I was there with my girlfriend on October 11 to eat right at the next table. When we came in, we were greeted in a friendly manner and brought to our table, which was clean. During the time we were there, I was able to observe that every table was cleaned and disinfected after clearing, and not just the table but everything around it and we have You sat there for a long time. Then you probably sat down too early or at the wrong table. I can't say anything about your food, but what we had on the plate was plentiful and I liked it so I'll definitely go back to eat there . P.s. After your appearance no wonder that you were banned from the house but you didn't want to come any more.

Friendly staff, nice ambience, good prices and delicious grill dishes. The obligatory uozo before and after the meal is part of the service. Clear recommendation.

We went here today with the whole family (6 people). We were served very friendly and brisk. Special requests were dealt with quickly. At the end there was even a "children's schnapps" for the junior. The food was very tasty throughout. We would love to come back
